The operating context
A telecommunications operation is a distributed system of systems. Network elements, charging, customer care, mobile money, dealer channels and field operations emit events at different rates and with different guarantees. The useful architecture does not pretend those boundaries disappear. It applies backpressure, durable buffering and idempotent processing so a downstream slowdown does not silently discard usage, order or assurance evidence.
Wavelink separates the hot path needed for immediate service decisions from analytical and reporting paths that can tolerate delay. Canonical events retain source identity and collection time. Enrichment is replayable. Operational dashboards distinguish source silence from genuine zero activity and connect an aggregate symptom to affected services, regions or processing partitions.
